Unreal Engine 4 runs on iPhone

Tony Tamasi: Take a little time to tell us about what you're working on, what's interesting, etc.

Tim Sweeney: Sure, for the last year or so I haven't had much time to program as I've mostly been seeing over Epic's transition into the next generation. What Epic is working on is really exciting. We've been building Unreal Engine 4 for about three years now and it's in really incredible shape, running on everything from an iPhone to a next-generation console to the highest end PC available. It's just an incredibly big and powerful engine.

It won't be called 4, 3 is the last of the current trilogy.

Frankly IB3 is a gorgeous mess. ChAIR loves pumping out updates, but they barely filter the bugs. Not to mention the pseudo freemium chips. The last version is usually fairly stable, but really hope the next game will be less frustrating if it ever comes.

Playing: Corridor Z, Goblin Sword, Lost Toys, Duet Game, Layton Brother, Threes!, Solomon's Keep, Crabitron, Punch Quest, IB3, Sword & Sworcery (Recommend them all!)

That's implying that iPhone 4 is more powerful than the Wii U

Boy, developers can't be honest with the Wii U, can they?

You really think UE4 can run on an i4?
