This plays like a Space Harrier/After Burner and Temple Run mash up. You're endlessly running (or flying in this case) away from the screen, dodging obstacles and picking up power-ups. Sounds ever so generic, but there's a lovely randomness to it all. The objects in your way are randomly generated and more so than any endless runner I've played - it's a real highlight when you're at breakneck speeds and a block falls from the sky, hitting a ball that's rolling at you and they both bounce over your head just as a pillar collapses in front of you. I've been gaming for longer than I care to mention and it's little moments of creativity and unexpectedness that remind me why I love games.

Don't go into it expecting a quality interface or polished graphics though. It could stand to have a lot of work done on it on that front, I especially loathe the font they've used but that could just be me. It's very "home brew" but that appeals to me somewhat, but I know I'm in the minority there. The menu is a little confusing to start with but you quickly adjust.

As for any freemium elements, you can purchase currency etc. and any purchase disables ads which is nice. There's a mission mode which seems to be a lot more generous than the main game when it comes to coins that you use to upgrade - they are quite expensive and that's obviously where they intend to recoup their money but it's definitely optional and at least there are no energy timers!

Just my thoughts, definitely worth trying!
Thanks for the impressions. Downloaded this myself and have to agree its a pretty good game. I like the mission mode more than the survival mode. Great controls. Wish there were achievements via Game Center, but still a worthy download IMO...
