Is it safe to assume this is like the first civil war game but with the Rome changes and features?

The game engine has the improvements from Ancient Battle: Rome (Combat Analysis) and Tank Battle: North Africa (Flanking). We've also improved thre UI and re-rendered all the unit graphics at a new camera angle so you can see more detail on them

All the campaigns feature historical battles from 1862 with the exception of the Shot and Shell campaign which is more of a series of abstract tactical challenges.

I guess whath the other poster was asking was, are the scenarios basically the same as the first Civil War game?

Although I had downloaded Civil War II, I haven't had time to play it yet...

It is good to hear that only the tutorial in Civil War II: 1862 is similar to Civil War: 1863, so I can buy the IAP expansion campaigns without worry. Skipping the tutorials and heading straight into the campaigns...

My own question: Any plans to add iCloud savegame syncing to your Civil War and Tank Battle games? Because I will be getting my new iPad soon, and as later battles in a campaign are locked until all the previous battles have been won, it would mean having to go through all those battles again just to get to where I am now on my new iDevice...
