App description: Monster Robot Studios is proud to present Steam Punks!

Steam Punks is a action platformer RPG inspired by classics SNES games like Mega man X.
Elite Enforcer Dunns Calhan is on his mission to take down the Bowler Gang and get back Professor Clout's stolen invention, The Grand Reactor.

"The other strong point of this game is the art. The sprites in this game, especially the enemies, look almost as good as Capcom's own work."

I am looking forward to this, seems some people are a bit disappointed with it. I love old skool platform 'Megaman/Metal Slug' type games so i hope i'll like it.

I've been playing this on Android and it's pretty good, but a little rough around the edges - particularly with some of the text as well as strange decisions like having an extra empty text box after each person talks that you have to tap through.

Honestly haven't gotten too far into it (too many other games -- mostly on iOS -- have been inundating me).

Hmmm stuff like that worries me that they havent tested it properly if empty text boxes just appear.

Either way i must admit i'll pick it up as its my type of game but i hope it wont be too frustrating. To be fair with Heavy Sword they made a fair few amends

Were the controls good and did jumping feel right? Do you know if the sword uses energy?

Controls are the typical movement buttons, a jump button and an attack button -- and they work well. So far I've only been using guns so I have no idea about swords.

The game isn't, so far, as hectic as something like Metal Slug, but it's still fairly challenging because it doesn't take much to kill you.

I'm not sure I got an answer in the upcoming thread, was this made with GameSalad like Heavy Sword was?
