Super fun puzzle game

I had a chance to play this one earlier and found myself really enjoying it. I never played first boom boat game but when I saw the trailer of this one it reminded me of a mix between Cover Orange and Siege Hero so I said i would try it.
It has a total of 50 levels working off the familiar 3 star level system we are used to. And it leaves room for more to follow in an expansion. The game-play is varied as you progress through it and you get to use all sorts of neat elements to aid you in destroying your enemy.
There is re playability to this one too as sometimes its difficult to get all three stars in one try and therefore you are encouraged to try again to get that extra star or two. This way it also allows you to try finish level in a different manner as you tried previously thus feeling like a new level.
This game is super polished and looks and plays super well even on my ipod 4G nonetheless. There is a nice little story to it too unlike many physic puzzle based games which adds to the blissful game-play.
Anyway, I enjoyed playing it and I look forward to more from this one in the future.

Admittedly, I wasn't sure what to expect based on the thread title, but after seeing those screenshots?

Yesh, please! I would be interested in giving it a shot...

Game Impressions

Developer was kind enough to give me a promo code for this one... Thanks!

The short version of my impressions? Hadn't heard of the first, and after playing the second, will be purchasing the first.

Haven't gotten that far yet, but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. I've already seen two types of "physics helpers," bombs and barrels, and based on the screens + what I've experienced thus far, it looks to get pretty crazy later on. Sa-weet.

All the trappings are top-notch, sounds, UI, BGM, etc., so playing is a satisfying experience overall.

I'm digging the,"do the mission over to gain different stars" piece. It's not always there in physics games, and I MUCH prefer when it is.

No real negatives, which is a nice surprise that can be hard to find.

One tiny niggle and one question for the developer.

Niggle.) The "scroll-to-aim" mechanic is a bit slow at times, but could be my steadily aging hardware (iPhone4/iOS6). It works well overall, so I'm again guessing hardware.

Question.) I have yet to get the "hold to aim" mechanic to work? I'm sure I'm doing something wrong... so what I am doing wrong?

tl;dr: If you haven't heard of the first BB, enjoy physics puzzlers, and the screens look appealing, it only gets better seeing it in action. If you have heard of the first BB and enjoyed it, you're probably already downloading the second.

Thanks again to Razoric!
