Slope Rider V1.1 - massive update is live!

Hi everyone,

It's been a long time coming but my update to Slope Rider is finally complete and went live in the App Store yesterday.

This is a big update which takes into account many of the comments os users here and elsewhere. Here's a list of what's new:
  • Completely redesigned menus. Easier to use and much clearer.
  • Career statistics including personal best scores, times and mastered tricks.
  • Online global ranking based on career points. Using Agon Online and includes Facebook and Twitter integration.
  • 10 of the 13 courses are locked until enough career points are achieved.
  • Two new characters.
  • Rocking music by Andrew Crow and Callum Boyd.
  • Pause with options menu.
  • More in-game graphical feedback.
  • Improved framerates.
  • Low level of detail option for even higher framerates.
  • Game speed options and accelerometer sensitivity options.
  • Can turn voice sound effects off.
  • Can turn all sounds off.
  • Can turn music off.
  • Improved playability with less penalty for crashing into a tree.
  • Improved playability with Alpine mode speed boost activated by touch rather than automatically on landing.
  • Improved camera.
  • Bug fixes.

Here are some screenshots of the new version:

** Promo codes are now gone. **

I am still working on a video for the updated version, Apple took me by surprise with the quick approval!

I am also putting the finishing touches on a lite version to be submitted very soon!

Thanks guys! Don't forget to give yourself a chance to get used to the controls. A lot of people find it hard at first but then get the hang of it. Adjusting the game speed settings can help too.

The graphics are good and the controls are not that bad! I don't like how like for example when you click Options the menu goes to portrait. Everything in landscape would've been better. Also, if the game started with a tutorial when you first started playing would be helpful too. But overall it is a really great game.
