I played the demo on the web. It has a Layton vibe to it.

It`s an great (mystery) Detective Story that really has almost everything that I would like to see in an Adventure Game but...I freaking can`t believe it that again another Developer/Publisher didn`t took the time to test their Game on at least every iDevice that is sold currently by Apple.

Let`s recap:

The Recording above was created with an iPhone 5s. While it`s still almost playable and only a few of the Riddles seem to be harder to solve because of the Bugs the same Game on an iPad Mini (with Retina) / iPad Air is an freaking Nightmare.

Here have a look: (Nintendo Style)

Please stop releasing Games that haven`t even been launched once on any iDevice outside of the Emulator or stock up your Q&A Teams since the current One are either overworked or simple don`t give a flying .... about anything.

Detective Grimoire is a great Adventure Game but those Bugs are freaking killing it!

I am pretty sure the developer didn't even realised that their game was approved by Apple, since there is no update/ release news on their website/ facebook/ twitter page for awhile now.

Hmmmm I think this may have been released in error. I was a kickstarter backer for this and not yet received an update with a code etc. the last update the devs gave said ios7 caused a lot of issues it it had finally been submitted. I've contacted them to see what's happening

Hello everyone,

Developer of the game here! You can check my latest tweet @SFBTom for verification, I replied to @tonmaisoon1 who sent me here.

So yeah, as you might have guessed, the release was an accident. While Armor Games, our publisher, has released iOS games before, this is my first time using iTunes Connect, and I somehow set the release date to yesterday (28th) instead of as far in the future as possible. We do have a release date decided now, but it certainly wasn't yesterday!

The scaling/misalignment issues that Sanuku found were found on our end too, and are now fixed. After a little extra testing, I was going to re-upload to iTunes Connect today, and hopefully I still will!

Sorry again for the mixup. Hopefully when Detective Grimoire does come out, everyone will be able to play it with no issues!

I nearly bought this earlier, but I decided to check for reviews first. Many thanks to Sanuku for the heads up!
