Looks like a modernized (well, voxel anyway) Battle City. Does that summarize it well or is there more to it? I loved that game when I was a kid.

JCho133: Thanks! =)

Echoen:
Yeah, you absolutely right, game inspired by Battle City.
However it will be much more expanded.
Various missions types: protect base, destroy enemy structure, escort someone to safety, survive enemy wave attack, sneak unseen thru map and more.

Side quest such as :
"cleaner" (you'll need to utilize some animals, this shown in video),
"radiation patrol" (destroy train with radioactive waste)
etc...

Bonuses will drop from the sky in random parts of map, for example:
kills all nearby enemies, shield, stop all enemies for a while, life and more.

Tanks can drops mines behind them, in case of chase, call airstrike support.

There will be 8 maps, 4 missions per map. Location is quite not relevant to each other. Such as Suburbs(in video), Egypt (yeah pyramids), Naica Cave(enormous crystals), Holywood, Pisa, Stone Henge, Paris, Moon. This list may be changed.

And for fun: you can destroy literally every object on the map to blocks.

I hope in next 3 to 6 months it will happen! I count on it.

JCho133:
Yeah, working with sound was a challenge, I'm glad you've noticed =)
From the beginning, in game sound was extremely chip-like (NES or C64), very noisy. I think current sound scheme is better.

Haha I also like the fact you don't have to shoot in an exact spot in order for anything to break

Yep ) , all you have to do is double tap on target - its stars locking.
After lock tank will attack and move by itself.
I specially get rid of all joypads and buttons(in favor of Pathfinding and simple AI).
