Default Anti-gambling campaign shows iPad in negative light

These are billboards that are currently being displayed by the South Australian government in Adelaide where I live.

The device is cleary a 1st gen iPad with a slightly modified logo.

I'd love to know what Apple's legal team thinks of this.

I think it's about time, Apple would never make a public battle out of it and awareness does need to be raised.

Good. Maybe this is the first step in what will be an eventual crumbling of freemium and mobile-focused gaming.

Freemium gaming can't die quick enough. I think it's going to take some legal action along with exposure by the media as to how these games are engineered the same way illegal drugs are. Every time I see the word "addictive" as a positive trait of games I cringe.

Apple! Snap out of it and shut this nonsense down! Tell them to use an Android tablet for a negative ad.
