Hmm never played it before but I'm not sure about this as I like to have some animation in my game, like battle academy, that's one of the reasons I never picked up battle of the bulge.

If that's your only requirement, then you're missing out on a LOT of very good games.

Normally I just auto-buy new Slitherine stuff but tbh ive never played any of the Panzer series...they always looked far too middle ground for me (too technical for casual but not technical enough to be hardcore) and im loathe to throw 15/16 quid at it to find out lol.

No introductory sale ?
All old hex war games are too technical for me and this one seems to have way more options and customization than I could comprehend in one lifetime.
However, I'm certain many war games strategist will be in heaven while playing it.

They did a 50% off launch sale for Great Battles Medieval and Slitherine's Legion.
Maybe they forgot about that?.....

If you have never played Panzer Corps or Panzer General and you have any interest in wargaming at all you really should try it. Panzer General pretty much created the computer wargaming sector on its own. The depth of gameplay combined with the long and absorbing campaign really make this something special.

The is is the most approachable strategy game you'll find. Use the default options and you wont ever need to change anything. The 6 scenario tutorial teaches you everything you need to know.

Meta Critic has a load of reviews of the PC version. In many ways the iPad version is better as the controls are slicker and it has pinch zoom.

I've been waiting for Panzer Corps for iPad since it was announced 18 months ago! This game WILL be mine tonight!

I'm sure Pip will be glad not to hear me asking about PzC's release date and progress anymore!

Insta download once I get home to my iPads. Will it work better on my iPad 2 because of the bigger screen or my retina Mini because it has more RAM and faster CPU? Any word on how much it costs with all the IAP? Does all the IAP increase the installed size?
