App description: The kids have been hypnotised by Santa's ads! Only you can save them! Tap them to distract them and set them free.

Use the power of reading and the power of activities to save as many as you can. Don't let Salesman Santa brainwash them with his slogans.

But if something goes wrong and one falls into the ad... at least you'll have a funny meme to share with your friends.

Comments & Reviews:

The game has made me laugh a few times in the time I have had with it The game play is simple but addictive worth a look if you are looking for something festive but different to play this Christmas Sean Davis, HeyUGuysGaming

I enjoyed playing this game. The most important message in this game is how sensitive kids are to the messages in advertisements and how we as adults respond to them. The memes are pretty funny and are about how a childs mind responds to the ads, and theres an eerie truth to them. Katy Zane, AppAdvice, Quirky App of the Day

Honey Tribe Studios has an interesting way of making social commentary and while it may not be a message you want to hear its sadly true the quirky theme, cool music and funny cartoons will keep you sufficiently entertained. Eric Pankoke, TouchMyApps

Santa ensnares children in his ads in this satirical look at materialism and Christmas. Stephen Daly, Gamemoir

I like the storyline. But the art style doesn't intrigue me.

Currently addicted to: Duet game, Threes, Tengami, Oquonie, Platforms Unlimited, Perloo, Wave Wave

Fair enough, but it is free so you could give it a try and see if it makes you smile.

Meme template

For those amused by the memes that appear on the game over screen, here's a template so you can make your own meme! Just add your own text over the top.

Or if you don't have any graphics software to add the text you can use the template system on imgur: http://imgur.com/gallery/xhWfuxp

Meme2

If you haven't played the game these last couple posts might not make much sense. But if you have and you are liking the humour... then have another meme template!

App of the Day

Noticed a couple of nice articles/reviews online Glad to see peeps are enjoying it.

App Advice made it their "Quirky App of the Day" and gave it 4 stars.

I enjoyed playing this game. The most important message in this game is how sensitive kids are to the messages in advertisements and how we as adults respond to them. The memes are pretty funny and are about how a childs mind responds to the ads, and theres an eerie truth to them.

And HeyUGuysGaming had a nice write up too.

The game has made me laugh a few times in the time I have had with it The game play is simple but addictive worth a look if you are looking for something festive but different to play this Christmas

If you didn't already, download and have a go, it might make you smile...!

More reviews

Noticed a few more reviews. It's cool to see that peeps seem to "get it" and enjoy it at the same time.

TouchMyApps gave it a nice write up:

"Honey Tribe Studios has an interesting way of making social commentary... and while it may not be a message you want to hear its sadly true... the quirky theme, cool music and funny cartoons will keep you sufficiently entertained."

And also Gamemoir posted about it.

"Santa ensnares children in his ads in this satirical look at materialism and Christmas."

Also a post from WiiPlayXbox

"This commical [sic] arcade game shares an alternative Christmas message, which the developer Honey Tribe Studios have a history of using social or environmental messages within their games."
