Buggle 1.0.1 [Now Free]

This caught me by surprise. I came home and found it on the store already. I wasn't expecting it to show for another week. Its a match three game. Its cute. Its casual. Its only $0.99.

Here's the App Store link: Buggle in the App Store

The video gives a pretty good sense of how it plays.

There also quite a few different award badges that you can win. I'm thinking of hooking up the badges to the OpenFeint achievement system.

wow Kevin, that looks great! Match 3 is an overcrowded genre, but the graphics look great and should help it stand out from the crowd...love the spiderweb premise.

Regarding OF, unless you want a 17+ rating you might want to disable the chat feature...I've heard that the rating goes up because of that. You also might want to take a look into other platforms too, there are some other good ones out there.

Looks good, I may pick this one up. But whats with the music? It's like half Christmas music/half 1940's circus music. lol

Looks great. My kids are big into bugs right now. I think they'll get a kick out of this one.

I grabbed it and enjoyed it with one minor gripe. Although the game will tell you at the end if you made the Top 10 (I assume local only), there is no way to see this Top 10 (or am I missing something). Please add this in an update.

Yes, I will definitely be adding the top scores screen.

I am also very much leaning toward integrating OpenFeint in the next version also.

I will go get a few promo codes for Buggle tomorrow to hand out. Right now I'm enjoying a cold beer and about to watch "The Trouble with Tribbles". My kids have never seen it. I've probably seen it 20 times.

Hey Kevin,

Another question after playing a bit. The game features 5 different powerups but what isn't clear to me is am I allowed to have multiple instances of each powerup or just the one? If I can have multiple instances is there a way to tell how many of any given powerup I have stockpiled?
