Whack-A-Dungeon is an extremely fast paced dungeon crawler that mashes up elements from Diablo and Whac-A-Mole. Kill monsters, touch, loot ton of gold, destroy barrels, touch, fight bosses, touch again and touch some more!

    Cool stuffs:

    1. -3 playable classes
-A great mix of arcade and rogue-like elements
      -Pure old-school skill intensive gameplay
      -Phat lootz :)

The game has been in development with some low and high since 2013. To get more news there is also an IndieDB page and a twitter account.

Do not hesitate to ask if you have any question and thanks for your interest in the game.

This is a pretty neat concept, I like it! Especially the fast pace and the variety in enemies

Looks like a fun take on the whack-a-mole formula. Looking forward to speed tapping my way through dungeons!

Is there any strategy while fighting or just whack as fast as you can?

Wow thanks for all the replies :)

    MikeNintendo:
On iPhone the edges of the dungeon are cut thus tiles are bigger. Having the same difficulty on iPad and iPhone is still something I'm struggling with though.

    _Max_:
I think it's more tactical that strategical. There are many short timed decisions. There will be more about that on the next dev update. But for example some objects have special powers that damage enemies with a specific pattern. Also some other objects can have a negative effect. There is still the 'whack as fast' aspect but most of the time you have to be very careful, anticipate, react and think.

    Andre:
Around march. But nothing set in stone yet :)

Doing some UI mockups. Trying to incorporate all elements within the game in order to gain space.

    update

Lately have been working on adding projectiles to the game. You have to touch them to prevent being hit.

Also worked on a curvature shader :)

Good necro news: Whack-A-Dungeon has been resurrected directly from the grave!

I'm currently looking for a pixel artist to replace Oryx sprites. It's not that they are not good, they are just perfect for this project. But they have been so overused :(

So if you happen to be a freelancer looking for paid work don't hesitate to contact me.

Indeed. But they are so good and easy to use. I guess most people start using them as placeholder and fall in love with them :) Like me

Looks great especially with all the features you are adding. This will give Whack-A-Dungeon depth, replay value and make it stand out from 'clicker' games.

Love the tactical ideas and of course the projectiles.

PS I know a great pixel artist for hire that I used on my game but he might be busy. I'll find out and PM you later with his details.

Thanks for the kind words deadjam hopefully it will live to your expectations :) Actually the game now has a completely different look/layout in order to accommodate iPhone as well. Oh and yeah I found a pixel artist. He is the one that made the bull.

Some FX I have been working on recently:

Bull looks great. I'm glad you found an artist. I did try and send a PM but never saw a copy in my sent items but that's not needed now anyway!

New look works well. Keep it up.
