Is this the "Pro" version or the free version?

Hi Sugimulm, it's the free version on app store.

So then it isn't "for a limited time".

What do you mean? What is difference between free version and Pro version?

I like the 5/5 scores in the description...since they're not accredited to someone, is this the dev's review of their own game?

Based on the fact that the Pro version has been $1.99 since release, and this version has been free, I'm guessing it's just the F2P/IAP or otherwise limited version, yes. And decidedly not "free for a limited time". I wish all devs would be honest.

Yeah, the dev rated it 5 stars.

Considering all the evidence, this is one classy developer.

You guys are maybe being a little harsh.

That said, I actually tried the game, and its a stripped down shell of the model we have seen before in Dungeon Raid and similar, better games. About the only "twist" is that it uses a Dungeon Raid model combined with a fighting model like that recent pirate-themed match 3 that many of us liked (forgetting the name). But again, its only the game board and the mechanic, all the bells and whistles that add character are missing.

The issue is not that the IAP is so terrible, its that there isn't much game here compared with other games in the genre.

Basically, this guy did the hard coding work, but essentially NONE of the creative, except with respect to the IAP power-ups.

My suggestion to the developer would be to sit down with Dungeon Raid and the other similar games in the genre (there is one more in particular that many of us liked, but I'm blanking on the name) and use that as a jumping off point for thinking about what he can add to his game to make it come to life.

Since the coding work is mostly done, this could probably be turned into a quality game. At this point though, its not worth a download at free if you have other games in the genre.
