I decided to give this app a go since I tend to get into a lot of situations where simple decisions can't be made and turn into frustrating situations . This is not just your basic Rock-Paper-Scissors (R.P.S.) app however. Not only is this version a simple decision maker which works for me but it's also a game. Who ever would have thought of adding points and high scores to R.P.S., well it's been done.

This version has all that the purist would want. A standard R.P.S. game, single player (vs cpu) or a 2 player mode. For those that are bored of the standard school yard game there is the inclusion of three new hands. A laser, dog and water. When you select a game, single person or two player you get the option to choose R.P.L version (including the classic hands) or the Classic mode. There are points awarded within the game play which can be uploaded via the Agon Leaderboard. There are 4 awards or achievements that can be obtained so far. More importantly there are a number of pages explaining the points system, the new hands and over all game play. Instructions are never a bad thing.

The game play is without complication. You simply swipe to select the hand that you want. You then touch the hand which makes it the cpu's turn. There is the inclusion of a Random hand selection that obviously throws out a random hand. In 2 player mode you are asked to make 5 choices for 5 different turns in one go, once completed the other player gets 5 choices. Each player taps on their side and the game runs out those choices that were made. Unless one of you is really lucky you will need to pick 5 again.

There are clever and lighthearted sound effects within the game and your iPod music works as well. This isn't your basic R.P.S. game, this one's on steroids.

thanks for the really impressive review. Here is a cool tip. when the game has started. tap on the upper left to activate the help screen. then activate the HELP TATTOOS. close the help screen. All the hands will now have tattoos of the ones they can defeat as well as their points.
