App description: "Neon Beat" is a new generation breakout game, enhanced with stunning visuals and powerful sound design.

A neon ball is running on the edges of the screen. Tap anywhere on the screen to make the ball jump towards the center. The objective is to clear all blocks in a given level, before the timer runs out.

Some blocks contain bonus items which help you to clear more blocks.
- Diamond: Gives extra 100 diamonds.
- Scale Up: Neon ball grows.
- Time Wrap: Timer slows down.
- Speed Up: Neon ball gains speed.
- Clones: Summons two extra balls, which are destroyed on impact.
- Bomb: Blows blocks up in an area
- Lightning: Generates four lightning balls that hit everything on their way.
- Fireball: Neon ball is unstopable for a short time.

However some blocks contains unfriendly bonuses.
- Scale Down: Neon ball shrinks.
- Speed Down: Neon ball loses speed.

You may say How hard can it be to clear blocks with a ball aimed at the center?
It may look easy; but through 60 levels, each one is designed to be harder than the previous one.
Every five levels, youll face pixel art bosses to clear. Good Luck.

There are 11 neon balls unlocked in order from smallest to biggest.
Rule of Neon Beat is that, "Bigger ball is faster".

There are 11 different backgrounds with different colors and tiles.
Neon Beat has started. Its time to clear all blocks. Have Fun.

The Good:

I like the overall design of the Game and it was to be honest the only reason why I did spent with the Game half an hour so kudos to the Artist who put those colors together.

The Bad:

And this sadly did broke the Game for me. The Ball Physics is just bad. Hitting a Wall right in front of me is often more luck then actual timing and often the Ball will bounce afterwards in a direction that does at no point would reflect the reality and even if if reality wasn`t the role model for the Ball Physics hitting the same place twice is often a miracle then actual timing.

The Ugly:

Closing the App does lead to a Spam Festival less then a Minute after I have closed it...

I tried it twice. Played the Game for ten Minutes. Got stucked on Level six. Closed the App. Spam.

Deinstalled it to start fresh from a clean Build. Played the Game for 21 Minutes (Got again stucked on Level Six but kept playing till I got passed it) and afterwards closed it and again Spam in less then a Minute with the same Messages.

Look i already told Gameloft and Ubisoft that they should stop spamming their Crap so I am telling you too that you won`t make any Friends with such a behavior of your App even everyone else might just ignore those kind of Spam nowadays on their iDevices.

I agree with Sanuku that the physics aren't perfect but they aren't bad either IMO. I'm actually really enjoying this so far. It takes a bit of getting used to the controls, particularly getting used the fact that your ball will not go all the way through unless it ricochets off a block.

But I really like the twist on the brick breaking genre. It's more challenging but addictive.

Fortunately, I haven't gotten that spam blast Sanuku got - maybe because I said no to notifications.

I think some physics tweaking and ironing out whatever that spam issue is could really make this a great game

I've been playing this quite a bit over the last few days and having a lot of fun, but I agree with the others, the physics is kinda off, I'm at level 20 now, and I will keep playing but it does feel like more luck than skill, level 6 took me over 12 attempts. The alerts that pop up within seconds of closing the app are pretty annoying for me.

It's a good game to play while having a cigarette because of the one touch controls, there's certainly room for improvement though.

I got it free today, and its a nice game, but there are ads between levels. I don't know if they were there at the beginning or if they are new because the game is free, but it dimmed the experience for me.
