Despite the App Store reviews, I never thought the first one was all that special. And keep in mind that the first one regularly goes on sale for free and has a decent number of IAPs.

It would take a lot to convince me to spend $5 on this one (and I'm not just being cheap).

I enjoyed the first one, it wasn't anything super but it was good and all the IAP were for extra levels and some special towers. I'm just happy that it's universal this time instead of two separate versions like the first game. I'll be picking this up tonight, I love TD games and there isn't much else coming out tonight that I am looking forward to at this point.

I enjoyed the original version for some hours (got it for free and never bought any IAPs), as far as I remember it wasn't too difficult and pretty satisfying on proceeding. Interesting 3D view. Strong towers with some special abstract tech look (where I needed some time to get used to it). Gets frantic in higher levels. A co-worker is addicted and played it all the day last week.

Not sure if to buy v2.
