An appetising arena shoot-em-up garnished with tower-defence elements and served warm with awesome-sauce (probably syrup).

A throwback to the golden age of video games where old-school homebrew titles fused arcade action with a distinctly British sense of humour.

Inter-dimensional time-blob beasties have sailed the cosmos in pursuit of spare time, and now they've found it, tasted it, on an idyllic Monday morning.

Assume the role of TERRY (toast-ejecting recoil & reload system), a humble and solitary toaster with an uncontrollable love for English breakfasts, hats and scheduling.

Tap to launch toast, crumpets and magnitudes of other breakfast paraphernalia at the beasties. Bounce around and crush them with your hot metallic mass. Tip over bins, and use the environments to your advantage. Drink a little coffee and go a little crazy. Do everything it takes to defend toast time you are Monday morning's final hope. Have your toast and eat it.

Woah, we didn't realise this would go out so soon! Gotta rush around to update websites and descriptions and things. We'll have a new trailer out later (in about 9 hours).

Yup, it should be 1.79 GBP, €2.39 EUR, $2.99 USD. I'm not sure what that makes it anywhere else!

If you want to hear impressions of the game, it's been out on Android (Google Play) for about 6 months now (link). You can trust those user reviews, right?

Okay, played a few levels and this game is awesome. It's like a more acrobatic, more skill-based Super Crate Box, with a simple one-touch controls scheme. In each level, you have to protect your clock from encroaching enemies. Levels start off flat, but soon become multi-tiered and featuring hazards and special items like jump pads. You tap to shoot towards that spot, shooting the ground launches you upward. Actually shooting anywhere propels you in the other direction

So gameplay becomes all about timing (to build combos for high scores), movement (to get the best angles to converse your limited ammo), and adapting to whatever weapon you pick up. So far I've unlocked two other weapons, a dual shot toasties and slicing baguette. You can also customize your guy with items (ie headband, Bo staff) but I can't tell if they have an effect on gameplay or are just aesthetic

But I can say that this game has simple controls that require skill and timing to master, a lot of levels, and most importantly is fun and challenging. The levels may be short, but completing them in a single combo is tough. The only IAP I can see is to Unlock All. There are Trophy challenges to achieve, stats to follow, and Game Center leaderboards to top. Oh, and even the Credits are awesome. You can tell this is a game made with the primary goal of being fun and enjoyable, and I definitely recommend it

Shitshit - that's not an IAP, that's a debug option that slipped through! It unlocks all the weapons and customisations, sets all levels to 3-starred, and essentially saps all the fun out of the game. It cannot be undone without clearing all data. Press at your own risk!

It's been fixed already, but we're waiting for Apple to approve the 1.01 version (and have been waiting for a week now).

Thanks for the nice words though! It's been a 12 month labour of love (for carbs).

I am soooo confused. This looks great though, I should go watch some gameplay.
