I played it, it's exactly what it looks like. What you see in the screenshots is 100% of the game. You can jump the red ball by tapping, you hit spikes and die, unless you jump over them. That's the entire game. The hit box on the spikes is like 2x as big as they should be, which makes its annoying and frustrating to play. I can't believe this game is #2 on the paid charts right now.

There's no way these downloads are legit. I think the app store is getting played right now. Not just by this game, but also Flappy Bird. The developer of that game was asked directly and didn't deny it.

It does seem that way. However i believe flappy bird is legit, it just straight up went viral. The only explanation i see for this is the fans of flappy bird are now wanting more, so they went for a paid simple/challenging game and this was it. Either something is going on with this one, or people are ignoring awesome games to go for crappy but challenging ones and its a little ridiculous

The developer bought this template for $10 and stuck it on the app store.
http://gshelper.com/shop/core-contro...ball-template/

They are using a fake name (a series of 3 names)
Louis Leidenfrost = Mateen Pekan = Firoozeh Morady

And they are almost definitely gaming the system.

Oh wow, and the thing is i bet they are pulling in decent revenue now regardless because of the flappy bird craze. Hope they get busted soon

The second name should be familiar to TouchArcade.

thanks guys,

Unfortunately curiousity got the best of me. I bought the game earlier on before i read these messages. My take, the game is unplayable especially that you die when you are visibly still ways away from the spikes and the corners. the level selection screen is cropped at the top and bottom. there's nothing in the game that seems polished and looking what you guys are saying, now i know why. thanks for the feedback. gotta tell my buddies not to waste their cash on this.
