We want to hear your feedback!

Hi, my name is Adam and I'm a developer for Epic Dragons.

Epic Dragons is a tower defense game that will let you build and share your own levels using the same in-game tools that we, the developers, use.

This video shows the current state of the development. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Woah, the level editor is really really cool, and definitely something that would draw people in!

The visuals look really nice as well

The other most important thing is not to make the game too similar to every other tower defense out there. That means adding crazy types of towers (dragons) and other mechanics that really mix up the gameplay

I'm a big fan of tower defense games, and this one looks GREAT! Love the use of different dragons instead of towers; looks like the gameplay has all sorts of options... and the addition of a level editor is crazy cool !! Artwork is spot on - I have to think this will be a very popular title once released - good luck, can't wait to play it! :)

kinshuksunil- No beta as of yet, but we'll be sure to let you know when one is available. We'll need as much feedback as possible about the game, especially the editor, in order to get it super polished

Wrath- Thanks! We trying to add some fresh gameplay features on top of the tower defense genre. One hing that we're doing is setting up a trigger system so that when a creep reached a certain button or switch on the map, a bridge will lower or a gate will open, thus opening up new paths for the creeps to walk down. The idea being, you want to prevent the creeps from reaching these triggers. You'll be able to create your own triggers in the level editor as well.

This is looking like a seriously good TD in the making, and I love the added twist of the level editor. Let me know when B testing opens up if it does. Is it going to have the ability to zoom in and out and swivel the orientation by pinching and turning? I love that in TD games, and Tower Madness 1 and 2 are good examples of its use in such games. Allows you to zoom in and feel like you are in the thick of things.
Anyway all the best. Seems like you have a good game in the works. Im looking forward to it.

Thanks a lot gokeadeyemo. Great feedback here. Zoom is planned! When you say swivel the orientation you mean rotating the camera? Question to you tho, wouldn't make the players get lost by not recognizing the level they are playing anymore? let me know.

Hey bugo, yes thats what I mean by swivel. i.e rotating the camera. You know, I don't think it would make the players feel lost but I may be wrong. As long as the levels are different enough from one another. (Unless Im misunderstanding what you mean)

@gokeadeyemo: Thanks for the tip, we can definitely try and see if it's useful. I can't guarantee it tho :)

@lukerox: Will do, if we happen to do it.

@mybrighter: Thanks for all your kind words.

Here's our ice dragon: He slows down enemies spitting his frozen balls (of course)

    Let's talk about level themes.

In our game we plan to let the player build their levels, but we will let the player purchase their own themes and share their levels with such themes. Ofcourse, they will also be available on the story side.

We are opened for ideas from the public, if you have any, please, let us know. Tell us, which themes would you purchase?

    Here's our idea list:

    - Highlands
    - Frozengrounds
    - Lava - the usual
    - Desert - the usual
    - GhostDungeon - foggy scary caverns with ancient columns.
    - Swamp - very damp with vines and big trees around.
    - Fantasyland - lots of shine, sparkles and rainbows.
    - SpaceIslands - floating islands in space :p
    - Christmas - perhaps?
    - SEND US YOUR IDEAS! :D
