Hey all,

Quick note to let everyone know that Apocalypse Zombie Fish went live on the AppStore today. Fun, simple way to pass the time in those 'I've got 5mins spare' scenarios

Cheers,

Help this mad scientist cleanse the waters by seeing just how high he can make the zombie fish fly.

Featuring:

> Zombie fish
> Pipe bombs
> Sweet graphics & tunes
> What, you need more?

Ok, I'll start off by saying 2 things about the game
1. It's only a pickup and play game.
2. There is no depth at all.

Basically you are standing on a dock overlooking the water. You see fish swimming by, wierd looking zombie fish. You are armed with pipe bombs. The objective is to throw and land the pipe bombs near the zombie fish and then tap again to make the bomb explode. Doing so will send the fish flying in the air and your score will be based on how far up the fish goes. There is a meter on the screen to measure the strength distance you would like to throw the pipe bomb. There are 5 rounds total and your score for each round is added up. Your final score then goes on a leaderboard. The only replay value the game has is trying to achieve a higher score or for the pleasure of blowing up fish into the air.

I actually don't regret the purchase. Its a very shallow game but the graphics, sound, theme, and presentation are all done good enough for me to consider it an okay pickup and play game for $.99 Most of you will find it too shallow though.

Thanks for the heads up. At least the original post (is that the developer?) did say it's for those 'I've got 5mins spare' moments. A little too shallow for me at the moment so I'm gonna pass.

sorry a little late had to do something, but yea everything freedog said is true, the gameplay is very shallow and basically no replay value, very mindless. Though overall the design and everthing is solid, the meat which is the gameplay does not deliver. Unlike freedog it wasn't really worth the dollar as i could have spent it on something better but i do like the artwork.

yes I am one of those who find it too shallow
