MEG: RVO is a top-down combat simulation that combines action, strategy, and multiplayer combat.

=> Start behind your teams safe area (red or blue)
=> Go to a capture point, usually 3-5 points on a map
=> Use MEG to build up defences around the capture point
=> Capture the point
=> AI will attack you, hopefully your defences hold
=> Collect supplies from dead AI using your MEG unit.
=> Other players may joint your team (red or blue) to help or hinder your progress
=> Use SKN you accumulate during the game to upgrade your weapons and defences

SOON TO COME:

Graphical and performance improvements
New rig chassis
New enemy types
New defensive systems
New deployable structures
More environments to compete in

Game play video:

It is not your typical mobile game at all..… We are working hard on a new MMO type game MEG RVO 2.5.0 is another step towards that goal.

At the moment it is primarily PVP

- Start behind your teams safe area (red or blue)
- Go to a capture point, usually 3-5 points on a map
- Use MEG to build up defences around the capture point
- Capture the point
- AI will attack you, hopefully your defences hold
- Collect supplies from dead AI or dead players using your MEG unit.
- Other players may joint your team (red or blue) to help or hinder your progress
- Use SKN you accumulate during the game to upgrade your weapons and defences

Was going to say the same, havent seen many Ipad Air only games, limiting your market a lot doing that

Is it safe to assume that this works on a retina mini?

MEG RVO Hardware Requirements

Hi,

Yes it will work on iPad mini (retina/A7).

Yes it would make way more sense for us to do an iPad2 version in terms of market size etc.

The reason we are not doing an iPad2 version is that the iPad2 hardware will not support our future development plans, and Apple does not allow "beta" versions so it is more work for us to release a complete game for each update. Releasing an iPad2 and Air version every 2-6 weeks would increase our workload a lot especially since we are doing a lot of R&D.

Big plans, small team, single/new game franchise, horrible market => no doubt we are doing everything wrong in terms of trying to make a quick dollar. We are working on this game because we love what we are doing and where we are headed.

Hope that helps, let me know if you have any additional questions.
(or come see us at PAX Boston in April!)

Thanks

OK OK.. the users have spoken:

We are hard at work at on an iPad2 version. We will make this the minimum requirement vs recommended.

Give us a couple of weeks... loads of memory warning issues etc but it kinda works in development

I *think* we can get an iPad2 version for when we head out to PAX (April)

In other news:
Version 2.6.0 is off to Apple (in review) and we have a new trailer (in-game) and some other goodies in this version:

Version 2.6.5. will have in-game tutorial videos which we will add as we go along.

Thanks!
