I just checked out the Japan store. Square has a bunch of interesting looking games over there. Hopefully some of them make it to the US. Also EA has a combat version of Tetris...

Hi guys, this is my play experience so far:

So the story is about Angels vs Demons which have been waging a war for quite some time. At the start of the story, the chief angel is having a showdown with the chief demon in front of the Mana Waterfall. The Demon's familiar ask them to stand down because it's dangerous. Suddenly, they're both got dragged by the Mana Waterfall and plunged into the human world. There, both are severely weakened due to their body deteriorating in the human's world.

Out of options, the chief angel proposed to do a douka.. mutual form.. fusion if you may. Reluctantly the chief demon agreed and they both fused into a same materialized body. They can switch out anytime they want.

At this moment, we can freely control the character.

We can tap or drag for movement. In battle it's rapid tapping, kinda like the original Secret of Mana game where it's frantic hacking and slashin'. After the "tutorial" we're facing off against the first boss, the Jackal. The big bad wolf has knocked out the chief demon's familiar. Time for revenge!

After beating the Jackal, the chief demon helps fuse the familiar into a doll to maintain its material body. Weakened, the demon/angel collapsed after that fusion. They woke up at a small town, after being helped by a.. parent and son named Cocoa.

After getting themselves familiar with the small town, suddenly Cocoa was kidnapped. Here, the chief/angel can read people's mind to find out the whereabouts of Cocoa. After reading the mind of a bandit who was left behind, the first quest of rescuing Cocoa will appear.

And that's as far as I go currently.

Oh and I forgot to mention, in this game, we have to be online on some point. The game won't register our mission / quest completion unless we're online.

I know it's been trademarked for a western release but I don't want to get my hopes up because it looks really awesome (assuming the F2P is well-implemented)! Fingers crossed!
