Um... What are the coins for? Im asking coz the game's free... and for a puzzle game looking like this, IAPs usually destroy them.

The coins so far have been used for items that give you advantages but certainly aren't necessary for completion. They've been pretty generous so far as well and I haven't really needed to use them outside of the tutorial forcing you to do so.

The freemium side of things is more to do with the energy bar - it costs 10 energy from your (at the start at least) 30 unit bar. It costs one of that ten energy in a puzzle to make a move but you recover some when you make a match of 3 or more. It's very easy so far to end the puzzle sets with your full 10 energy in tact and it gets added back to your energy bar, a bit like Bears vs Art. Not ideal for those seeking a premium or unlimited experience but it's a much better option than some games go for.

The game itself is quite fun too, I feel like I've played a couple of similar games before so I'm not sure how long my time will be with it but it's got the usual polish you'd expect from Cartoon Network.

Indeed the Game was Free during a short period of time during the Soft-Launch and PeteOzzy did branded it correct in his first post but the Game now changed to $1.99.

I watched the first couple minutes of Sanuku's video and the game play is very similar to BubLab, which is a pretty nice little puzzle game.

Pricing aside, this has a really cool visual style. I love the lighting and the effects.

So... now paid games with timers (obviously it's not free anymore)? Wow.. no.

Cartoon Network is really pushing this thing like with Card Wars. If the new trend is pay to get a game with timers then that is a very horrible future for iOS gaming.
