Horde of Heroes - Retro Match-3 RPG - [Everplay]

You Are Going On An Adventure!

Hordes of Heroes is a Match-3 RPG placing the player in the role of a medieval Hero whose quest is to set out and save the kingdom from evil doers, ne’er-do-wells and generally unsavory characters. Along the way, you can unlock new powers, gain tons of loot, and find real-life friends on the battlefields to help you in your quests.

While the controls and gameplay are instantly familiar to veterans of the Match-3 Puzzle genre, Horde of Heroes’ satirical story-driven fantasy world, multiple game modes, in-depth social features, visual style, and loot-driven character advancement makes it a unique experience.

FEATURES:
• Over 1,000,000 Combinations of loot, like Armor, Weapons, and Items.
• Fun (optional) Social Features through Facebook, like helping others fight in the same area with your hero.
• Progress through a story or go along just for new loot, rankings, or fun.
• More Info Coming Soon

Release Date: April 24, 2014

Nice... One of my favorite devs putting some effort on a puzzle RPG hybrid, this should be good. Looking forward to this Everplay!

This gives more dimension to the MF/SCB formula, and is definitely something i'll permanently have on my 4s.
TRIVIA: Spell Sword's been a staple on all my devices since that day

This sounds like something I'll pick up. Can we match fluidly like in Dungeon Raid? Or is it just up, down, left and right?

Dungeon Raid was pretty awesome when it came out, but we have the more traditional approach to Match-3. Similar to what you'd find in Bejeweled or (Apologies for the reference) Candy Crush.

It is a bit more in-depth, with various powers to unlock and use, multiple game modes and objectives, and specialty blocks within the various stages.
