Can anyone comment on the intuitive and responsive controls? Relative touch or stick?

Game looks sick!

Tap and hold anywhere on screen to move in that direction. Tap on enemies when close to attack.
I'm normally the first one asking for a v-stick in a game. I honestly think this wouldn't be as good with a controller. Your character is so agile and moves so quickly, the control scheme despite it's inherent drawbacks, really suits this game.
Don't get me wrong, I'd still like to try with a virtual pad and buttons. I don't feel like it would improve the experience though.

Onto the game, you start in hell. On floor -100. After a series of rooms, some with just enemies, some with obstacles as well (lava so far), you make it to a platform that raises you to the next floor. Some rooms have optional missions. Collect coins or killing enemies in set times as well as killing all enemies in desperate mode. Completing missions seems to take you on a more direct route to the "elevator".
Overall, I'd say if it interests you, it's well worth the dollar. It might get repetitive later in the game, I haven't seen if it auto saves if you quit or if you'd have to do it in one go. I'll be enjoying it more than a lot of the $1 on a whim purchases I've made on the AppStore. For a buck though, a game has to be pretty crap to not be worth trying if it looks interesting.

Thanks to Strive for posting this and to RedRibbon for the video.

Just went back into the app. It restarted me at the beginning. Not a good sign if you get a call. On the bright side I realized I had chosen the hardest difficulty and that the easier ones are 10 and 20 floors. Hard is 99.
