Art style is EXTREMELY Foursaken Media-y which is a good thing... Look forward to giving it a whirl!

Thanks, we greatly appreciate it! We're big fans of Foursaken Media and in fact, their office is not too far from us here in North Carolina.

In Scrap Squad, you sort rubbish coming down a conveyer belt into one of four bins. You earn more points if you group like items together before you bin them, and each run gives coins that you can spend upgrading your equipment or buying boosts. Although quite different in style and approach, the game it reminds me most of is Funky Smugglers, mixed with a near-copy of the Subway Surfers upgrade, boost and daily challenge system.

But whereas in Subway Surfers, spending money is optional, things seem to be applied here with a heavier hand. I've only played Scrap Squad for fifteen minutes, but I've already received a safe that I need a sledgehammer to open. Of course, I don't have any sledgehammers. How handy that I can buy five of them for $2.49!

I also came across an issue where grouping together half a dozen of the same kind of item, dropping them back on the conveyer, and then picking them up again only picks up some of them. I'm not sure if this is the intended behaviour or not.

This is not a bad game, but it just didn't have that One More Try spark for me. Perhaps it'll be more to others' tastes.

Hi Georgina,

Thank you for downloading Scrap Squad and giving it a try! All feedback is welcome and taken into consideration as we strive to make Scrap Squad the best game we possibly can. We're sorry you found the game to be a bit heavy handed early on. Players should have a pretty good chance of finding hammers inside mystery boxes that come down the belt. When these mystery boxes with hammers do appear, they are usually pretty generous.

We're looking into the issue with dropping and picking up grouped items and will let you know what we find.
