SimCity for $2.99

For those with the game, would you buy it for $2.99? Interested in your opinions. Feel free to refrain from responding with such gems as "Try having your own opinion" or "Do you like to build cities?"

I am more interested in content, replayability, fun factor, stability, etc.

I don't wanna inject too much negativity into the topic but I have heard there are issues with bugs... some people don't seem to be able to get the game started after setting up their city.

It's possible it's been fixed, I don't have the game myself so don't take my word for it... but find out before you buy.

i have the game and ive never had any problems with it, i love it. but i know from a older forum there isnt many people with positive views of it. but in my experience its all positive, just like the pc version. you can even use cheats to make ultimate cities

I have no problem with it eother, I really enjoy the game and think it is a great value at 2.99. Only complaint is you can't listen to your iPod music

Never experienced any major game stopping bugs before, but it did lag once in a while for me, which was resolved by rebooting the iPhone and I agree with Will on the music part, would be good if we can tune into our library.

I'm a fan of the Sim City series, but I really find this game unnecessary. The controls are kind of tough and unless you plan to really commit and work with your city on a regular basis, why not just play it on the computer? In fact it's almost a direct port from Sim City 3000, the small units on the map aren't easy to work with on a 3.5" screen.

Worked great for me on the 3g and it runs really well on the 3gs. It was worth the original price ( 6.99 if i remeber correctly ) so in my opinion its a steal at 2.99

I brought it for 9.99 and don't regret it. Great game, however you might get bored of it after learning all it's tricks. The graphics are awesome, and no bugs or crashes on iPod Touch 1G.

Picked that one up yesterday. Runs without problems. The controls take a bit getting used to, but otherwise it's a classic game of SimCity. Now if I were only able to make my city flourish. Yeah, it's been a while since I've played SC.
