Loving this game so far. I would like to see the attack animations pronounced a bit more, maybe even just emphasize the forward movement a little bit more, but the game's mechanics are pretty well done. Maybe lower the encounter rate a little bit too.

This definitely captures the retro feel of classic JRPGs. Controls are spot on, and the RPG system seems deep as well. Havent checked other characters yet, but the knight's skills are pretty varied, so im hoping to see a lot more variety in the other classes when i ge to play with them.

One thing though, the background elements look a little muddy, while the character sprites are sharp and vibrant.

Hey thanks for the great review! and ill take not of the animations and other things mentioned.

I take it you are playing on the ipad? The player movement during attacks/dodges is actually the same pixel distance on the iphone as it is the ipad so it looks like much less movement since that ipad has much more overall pixels. (this is something i already have fixed for next version )

Yup. On the ipad air. Cool looking forward to the update.

To anyone else looking for some comparison, this has some similarities to Dungelot in terms of exploring, with the exception that you have an avatar that you control, and that the battles here are turn-based, JRPG-style.

Default Great game

Been following for a while since it looked interesting all the way through and I'm happy I did.

Can you describe the rogue play style a bit?
