'Rally Master Pro' (Fishlabs) Gameplay Footage

ORIGINAL ARTICLE (horribly google-translated): http://translate.google.com/translat...state0=&swap=1

pressHOME.de visited Fishlabs (the creators of Galaxy on Fire) at gamescom in Cologne to take a first look at their brand new racing title "Rally Master Pro".
The Java-Version of this game is very popular and was awarded many times, now the guys ported the racer to the iDevices which last 9 months for now (as long as they worked at the original version) and made an awesome job.

Our Video shows "only" the BETA but impressed us to the limit; great 3D graphics, dynamic lighting, weather and particle simulation, all these features let "Rally Master Pro" look incredibly good.
But Fishlabs told us that this is not the end of all possibilities (for now it runs with Open GL 1.1 without vertex and pixel shader), so the guys will probably publish a 3GS Update, where you can push the graphics much higher. The game runs with 30FPS on all iDevices (except iPod touch 1st Gen). At the End of this year there will be also a free update, which will contain a multiplayer mode via Bluetooth.

In addition they have integrated some Minigames, which you can see at the end of this video. These will appear ingame, so you can repair your car for example.

"Rally Master Pro" will be published to the App Store mid of October this year; a price is not known at this time.

Looks awesome, might over take real racing? Is this basically Dirt 2 (so that all the platforms have a rally racer?

This game looks awesome.

Mini-games, meh. But the game itself looks great.

Two guys walked into a bar. You think they would've seen it or something.

I just read an article on IGN stating that this game had JUST been submitted, yet everything I read says October is the release.

That's not going to happen. I think we'll be lucky to see this by mid to late November if it was just submitted, unless it's rejected for some typical reason - Then we'll be be playing sometime in 2010

Good Luck Fishlabs
