Default Which game(s) deserve this year's Apple Design Award?

A lot of great games have been released within the past year. As you all know WWDC 2014 is close by and a number of apps would have the honors of being crowned with Apple Design Awards. What games do you think are most likely to take this years award and why?

I am with you on that. Thumbs up for Monument Valley. Though I believe other games like Blek and Bicolor also have a good chance.

Yeah obviously MV. Probably Threes and Hitman Go. Maybe Wayward Souls too

It's funny how a Gameloft game would never even touch this forum...

I'd guess Threes would be a strong contender.

It is a brilliantly designed indie game that was screwed over by rampant cloning, but managed to rally support among gamers who appreciate quality over price.

Basically, it fits exactly the same pattern as Ridiculous Fishing, which is a previous winner.

Is the Design Award more focused on audiovisual design elements or gameplay design? I assume it's the former—another likely candidate along with the ones mentioned above would be Device 6. But if it's the latter, here's hoping 868-Hack gets recognized.

Yeah Device 6 is a great example of games with unique game design. Monument Valley is another good choice.

Republique may be a good option too.
