This was one of the first Big Fish games I purchased, but I only recently got around to it, and finally finished it tonight. It's a well designed hidden object game with great art, good puzzles and a stronger than usual for the genre narrative.
The plot reads like good Disney Beauty and the Beast fanfic written by a fan of romance novels. The map shows active locations, but does not teleport. A well organized diary organizes hints and clues. The integrated strategy guide is surprisingly useless, but I never really needed it. A magic mirror is your only window to the outside world of hints, and recharges quickly. The only major plot thread left hanging at the end of the main game is tied up in a bonus chapter.
