Kelso’s Quest: Embark on an Epic Journey (by Avocoder)

We took major risks. This game features mechanics not used in this way before on a phone/tablet. Includes: Line-pathing w collision, multi-room transitions, unique rendering method, etc.

The gameplay is simply different!.

Embark on an epic journey as Kelso the Koala. You will need to collect feathers to complete levels all while avoiding enemies and defeating bosses. Enlist a sidekick or two to help and save Kelso’s son from his kidnapper.

The task will not be easy though, Kelso must pass through gorgeous yet treacherous lands filled with deadly predators and evil villains! Unlock friendly wombats, avoid enemies, defeat bosses, and save the day in what is sure to be the best puzzle/adventure game of the year!!!

Looks great. . Picked it up just now and will almost certainly buy all the unlock IAP. Grats on a fascinating, creative game!

After playing a little, I'm torn on this game.

The path drawing mechanic is FANTASTIC and super responsive. Level design is +good! as are the graphics. I really, really want to play this game from start to finish, since it seems like so much fun, BUT...

-Constant reminders that they want you to hook up to Facebook
-Ads in between levels, with no way to buy out of them.
-Consumable IAP up to 19.99 dollars in value.

I'd definitely buy a 1.99 IAP that disabled ads, a 0.99 one to disable the Facebook nagging and a 2.99 coin doubler. If there were an option to go fully premium for 9.99, with all the freemium nonsense excised, I'd probably fret about it for an hour or two, then hit the buy button.

As it stands, I'm regretfully deleting this wonderful game. I'm keeping it on my watch list, and if an update ads an option to buy out of the freemium elements, I'll be first in line.

Thanks Silver for your input and response. We do have a new build that is awaiting store approval. We will have implemented the ability to remove ads, added additional customizable features, etc. Interesting about the facebook pop ups, the team will look further into that. As far as the buy out option to remove all ads and for it to function as a traditional game, we have teetered with that decision and will visit it again. Sad to here you will be deleting it though hope you come back and try it out. There a lot that comes with this game... especially toward the end!

Very nice!

The game is really good so far. It has better production values than most. Does it support cloud save games over Facebook? Could Facebook sync progress from iPhone to iPad?
