Really quite enjoyed my quick play of this; reminds me of the Death Star II level in Shadows of the Empire but reimagined as an endless runner. Plus the Tekkonkinkreet inspired visuals definitely appeal to me. "Be happy, be happy"

this is interesting because it brings some new elements into the behind the back runner genre. You can move your ship in 9 different directions, is there already a game like this?! Game center is integrated but just for achievements, there are no leaderboards

I think doesn't matter if there is a game like this already, the matter is who did it better.

Hey @sink_or_swim. I'm the designer on Space Heads.

The 3x3 grid mechanic is our twist on a familiar genre. When I built the first prototype(a year and a half ago) I hadn't seen any other runners do it. I've since seen this 3x3 system, but like Chaos_u pointed out it wasn't that well implemented, because it was hard to tell which lane you were in.
I think the trick is to make the players know exactly where they are, so that they can focus on avoiding obstacles and not feel like they died in an undeserving way.

Indeed, a very interesting and cool endless flyer with top-notch controls.
Even the coin rate is good and fair in this f2p social event.
