App description: WWII tactical submarine combat on your iPad!

Take command of a U-boat prowling the Atlantic in search of enemy convoys to sink. Sneak past the escorts and torpedo the transports. Or surface and use your deck gun in a night attack.
When the escorts come after you, drop decoys and sneak away before they can crush you with their depth charges.

Features:
* The first game of its kind designed for touch-screen devices.
* Smoothly blends a submarine simulator with arcade action.
* Provides the tools for both stealth and offense; you decide how aggressive you want to be.
* Multiple times of day allow for different play styles.
* Location-based damage/repair affects the performance of your sub.
* Random encounter generator for deep replayability.
* Three difficulty levels.
* Tutorial mode helps you learn the ropes.
* Global leaderboards.

I desperately crave a 'Silent Service' clone for my ipad.

Was about to buy this but I'm now unsure as reading the info seems to suggest it's an arcade game rather than a Sub Sim.

I'll wait for a review before buying.

Last iOS game I bought: 6/1/15

5 is not really that expensive tbh, if it's a good sim game it'll be worth 10x the price. Personally I'm happier paying a decent price and getting the whole game rather than buying some 69p or freemium trash that is forever nagging me to continuously throw money at it.

Wolves of the Atlantic may be something you and I would be waiting for...

Back to topic: The guys over PT may review this one later.

One more thing: humm, decoy? torpedoing with periscope up? Ah...I am going to give this one a...pass...

Statement: Star Wars has 2 characters with strange use of grammar: Yoda and HK-47. I pick HK-47 for it is meaner.

Honestly, I was never terribly good at games. - Finch (PoI S2E16)

Can anyone tell me how this looks on an iphone? The text looks really small. I'm wondering if it is even readable on a small screen.
