is it me or are we having a lot more spamming than usual at the moment?

Ya know, I think Mene overreacted here.
It was a normal spam attack.
Nothing like the social groups thing.

Is it really that easy to spam Touch Arcade? I think there's just certain times of the day/night when moderators/spam squad are less active and the scum come out.

It's actually pretty constant. Usually if a mod is on they catch it before most people notice.

I agree with Mene; there feels like a noticeable increase in spam or, if not in quantity than duration, maybe a decrease in responsiveness with deletions. For example, the prior most recent post in the site feedback right now is spam. Not that I'm complaining; unavoidable hazards of the web.
