The River of No Return!

What’s unique about this remake of the Atari 2600 River Raid?!

1. We used original maps of river raid for creating them! We will add 60 maps on each updates!

2. The game is totally free!
The player has 3 lives to play. In the game over menu, there is an option that players could continue the game by watching a video ad!

3. This is the exact clone of River Raid!
We tried to make the exact clone of this fantastic game with its marvelous atmosphere in every possible aspects of the original game (sounds, graphics, gameplay, scoring, etc.) and added few touches here and there, like adding Game Center for online scores.

Your mission is to score as many points possible by destroying enemy tankers,
helicopters, fuel depots, jets and bridges before your jet crashes or runs out
of fuel.

- 60 original River Raid maps (60 maps added on each update!)
- Universal: Works on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch
- Responsive controls
- Game Center
- Exact clone of Atari 2600 River Raid!
- Accelerometer Control (Touch Control and iOS Contoller will be added on future updates!)

I love that it announces itself as a clone in the description lol. Not really sure this is the kind of thing I want to support though.

I dont reckon it'll last long on the app store, the second Activision contact apple it'll be gone , free app or not. Again i wish devs would do 'homages/clones' of games we dont have already !

Pretty bold to just admit it's a clone... Even the name is exactly the same?!?! I remember playing this on my 2600 and loving it. That was a long long time ago.

Activision still have the trademark for this.

Not only that but it was renewed in April 2014 :

Unless of course the makers of this game have approval from Activision ...

Default Activision Anthology

River Raid is also in the Activision Anthology app. I see this Morteza Rajabi has two other Atari titles out: Keystone Kapers and Seaquest Retro.
