Default A Life Worth Dying For (by Mutlu Isik)

Quote:
NZ Release info:

The Game is out in New Zealand. Size of the app is 95.7 MB.

Price in NZ is $3.79 which should translate to USD $2.99.

Requirements:

Requires iOS 4.3 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.
Trigger video flashbacks in this sentimental new puzzle game.

You’re about to die. Your goal is to remember a sequence of cues. If you can recall them correctly, you will trigger short video flashbacks. These intimate moments add up to form an abstract impression of my life, reaching further back in time as you advance.

This is a new kind of memory game. It’s an interactive self-portrait made from my own personal home videos. All of these video clips are emotionally authentic.

Follow me on this trip down memory lane! Challenge your own memory! Ask yourself: what’s worth living for? But also, what’s worth dying for?

This game was inspired by
1) my fear of dementia, a mental illness that can cause permanent memory loss.
2) my fascination with the “n-back task”, a mental exercise that’s supposed to have magical powers: according to a controversial study, it can make you smarter!

FEATURES:

Videos are part of core gameplay, not just for cinematic effect.

Intimate and interactive self-portrait (no linear storytelling).

Easy to control – challenge your mind, not your fingers.

Endless play – keep advancing to unlock harder game-modes.

Your stats – level up and see graphs that highlight your progress.

Universal App – pay only once, play on your iPhone and iPad.

No In-App Purchases (IAP), no extra costs – designed as a COMPLETE GAME.

PLEASE NOTE:
Requires at least iPhone 4, iPad 2, iPod Touch 5 or newer device.

Due to the autobiographical nature of this game, some of the videos are in German or Turkish. However, understanding these languages is not necessary for playing the game.

That's one cool thing about the AppStore. It's never short on weird games.

Oh man...

This is looking like my one "must play" game this week.

"Happy"
"Happy"
"Proud"
Buzzzzzzzz!

Gameloft: Watch and learn.

As much as I enjoy browsing through other families' photo albums...I think I'll pass.

A- If I'm about to die why am I seeing that guy's memories?
2- Why the hell am I playing video games if I'm dying?

(1) You are that guy (I'm assuming you have an imagination of some description here!)

(2) Because you hang out here, then like the rest of us, that's probably how you're going to shuffle off this mortal coil!
