Revolution 60 by Brianna W. Wu
Revolution 60 is a breakthrough game for iOS, using the strength of the touch interface to tell an intense, movie-length story. It features gorgeous animations using the Unreal Engine and has gameplay that is accessible to the casual iOS user. It is fully voice acted, and lovingly animated with a cast of complex, strong female characters.
The press has called Revolution 60, "Heavy Rain meets Mass Effect." Players will control Holiday, a trained assassin using intuitive gestures with the touchscreen. Your mission is to regain control of the orbital weapons platform N313. Make your choices and accept the consequences.
Revolution 60 also has an intuitive yet deep combat system, designed for the touch screen. Players will battle on a grid, and strike when the moment is right with cinematic moves. Players of all skill levels can enjoy the combat of R60.
For best performance, we strongly recommend upgrading your device to the latest iOS version, and minimizing background apps while running. Revolution 60 supports the iPad 2 and all later models, the iPhone 4S and all later models, and the iPod Touch 5th gen. Support can be found at Revolution60.com/support

This is rarely indicative of a deep combat system...
...and indeed, judging from the trailer, the combat mechanics seem extremly simplistic.
I read in a review that you can beat it in a couple hours. There's a dozen different endings tho and from what I played so far I loved.

You talked me into it - I played it - 23 endings left!
Overall it felt a little short, but I would not like to have missed this experience.

Game Impressions
A piece of modern art, truly. Part interactive storybook, part adventure game, part rpg...the combat system is simple but efective. The visuals are gorgeous, with modern pop art touch...and sexy!
A must buy

I couldn't disagree with you more. The art style is rather polished and pretty. And the gameplay is extremely unique. I rather enjoy the combat system as well. I was extremely surprised and I realize how much I was enjoying this game! Well done team!

Not bad! Could have been better, a missed opportunity. Good idea tho, it was a game with girls that wasn't overly girly but spies and such, although their outfits were serious fashion victim stuff.

Played through once. Superb. Animated story/adventure. Very well done. THIS should have been given GOTW if for nothing than to encourage women to become involved in ios games development. It shines as a first and I'm disappointed it hasn't received the recognition it truly deserves.
For a first attempt its brilliant!
What did I love the most about it? The sarcasm and sometimes bitchiness, the graphics and the story. Great work girls bring more of the same and I will buy it.
The eye expressions were awesome. LOVED IT!! Highly recommended 10/5. Will be playing this a few times. Just the right length to want to play through a few times.
