It's already out. It's ok, not as deep as I'd hoped.

Hi folks!

Thanks for posting about our game. If you are still on the fence maybe a screenshot of the battle scene will sway you!

If you have any questions let me know!

Ok downloaded it and tried it for around 20 minutes; as said above the game is indeed ok but a bit "shallow"; there could be some potential there but i think it would need some more variety and options; some infos on the armies for example would be useful as at the moment i can't see if the only difference between armies is in the number of actions they have (i see as i fought against them that archers have range but not having them myself i can't tell what the range is); would be useful also an undo button when you give orders on the battlefield.
Combat mechanics are also a bit over simplified, there is for sure space to add some ideas there (abilities, strenght and weakness against other armies etc)
I'd say if you want to keep the management of the empire mechanics simple you should have a deeper combat mechanics or viceversa; at the moment neither is very deep.
That said i will play some more to have a better idea of the middle to end game before a final judgement.

Thanks for the feedback! The combat does get more interesting once you've built up a larger force. As always I'll be here to take notes and hear what you have to say about the game so that we can make it even better in future updates.

Once you've played some more please share your thoughts and suggestions. I'll be looking forward to your notes.
