"upcoming" is a bit of a stretch, but we're proud to announce the final chapter to the great little war game brand.

We're going balls out with this one and are very excited about it.

    More here: http://www.rubicondev.com/blog/ultimate-war-game/

If you like this kind of game, we're keen to hear suggestions and feature requests...

    Thanks

I also like balls out:) This game looks to be the war game that I always wanted. I saw how big the map(Picture)is and there is a lot of potential for this game! Anyways, will you guys be doing a beta test for this? If yes, then count me in!

Sounds good, especially bigger maps and most of all for me base building. Although I don't think it'll be C&C type base building?

Love your games Paul - I was a tester on android, bought them all on ios and recently bought GBWG on windows too - my favourite series of mobile games for sure.

So very happy to hear we're getting another instalment :)

I'm interested to hear about the base building...how will this work?

Loving the response so far guys, we'll try not to disappoint!

    Actually don't know yet.

Our two main contenders are a straight implementation like you see in C&C etc., but an alternative is how they do it in total annhilation etc with roving builder units.

There's merit to each and we'll be trying them both out for playability as soon as we can. The main issue is making the interface to it not feel clunky, whilst preventing cheese like building an uber cannon right inside the enemy base!

Soooooo looking forward to this. I've played through and enjoyed the hell out of all 3 of your "War Games of Various Sizes". This one will be an insta-buy for sure. Now get back to work! ;)

I could definitely see some ultra long firing, but poor accuracy, artillery... a storm the castle on the mountain scenario... its really got great potential!

I just now found out about this series when I read the announcement on the TA app. I remember that the series was going to start out under a different name when it was first being developed but I lost track completely since then. Just purchased GBWG this morning and will be playing it all weekend hoping that UWG expands on GBWG in every way while retaining the cartoony, Advance Wars/Oil Rush design.

Thanks, Paul! Really looking forward to seeing more....your work speaks for itself so I know this will be awesome!

I would love to give some ideas and feedback...and I would like to get involved as early as possible in the Alpha. Please keep us posted on how and when we can start helping test.

Appreciate the hard work as always....

Really looking forward to this! I loved the first two, and this looks like an epic finale! My one question about it is will there be medics this time round? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember there being a way to heal your soldiers, which got frustrating when they got to high levels. Thanks!

Defo medics, and no "rate me" frippery to get them.

We're putting a bunch of new units in actually (tbd) to support the idea of factions. Each faction will have strengths/weaknesses like special units, no tech tree but cheap units, etc.
