Even if it is true, I've heard the card game can be a bit shallow and boring when compared to other ccg's

It's not really a Nintendo game, The Pokemon Company is a separate entity (though 100% own by Nintendo) and does it's own thing. You can already download this on Windows, so iPad's a natural extension.

It doesn't mean, unfortunately, that Mario Kart et al is coming to ios.

The Pokemon Company is the brand manager. Pokemon license is owned by Nintendo, Game Freak and another company.

Takara tomy did the retail version of this card game.

Once Iwata is gone from Nintendo you can bet Mario kart will come to ios in some form xD

like please!! don't be harsh to iwata, even if iwata resigns from nintendo doesn't mean you will be seeing nintendo games on iOS devices

I think Nintendo clearly showed they dont pay much attention to the fans. Well at least western fans. Speaking as a former collector of Nintendo games.

Time will tell.. I have no problem with them putting out games on smartphones obviously
