It's surprisingly fun, though I imagine a lot of potential players will be put off by the freemium timers and dual currencies being included. Ignoring that, you have a quirky rock-paper-scissors RPG/Castle Defence-ish oddity.

You have three weapons, each with their own unique projection arc and the enemies have their own that match yours. If two projectiles hit then they deflect harmless but if they're not blocked then you deal damage to your enemy. Each attack has its own respawn rate and cost to use much like in Plants vs Zombies and many others but it's not quite the same experience.

Battle take place like you're exploring a dungeon; you'll encounter a few enemies and likely some treasure and then face a boss. In between this you can visit town to buy equipment, fight in the arena and pay to level your weapons. You can even change character, pet and level your current job. It's surprisingly deep and entertaining for how it may first seem. I definitely recommend giving it a go.

Is this online only? The freemium timers always put me off but I'd give it a go if it isn't an "internet solo RPG"

TOP5: Chaos Rings 3 / Monster Hunter Freedom Unite / The World Ends With You / Kingdom Rush Series / Implosion

Thanks! I'll go install it now. Btw, I can't believe people still release game names that don't fit on the app. I can't decide if the devs are amateur or lazy..

I've been playing this for a while now. In my opinion, it's a hidden little gem; at least for a free iOS game. I like how you don't need the premium currency for any consumables, but just for permanent upgrades. And the game isn't too stingy about giving you jewels. I've bought most of my favorite upgrades already without spending any money.

What are those rare weapons? And where did you find them?

I'm level 302 and my newest items are the master armor and the "master axe Youth Darlyl". My other weapons are standard (2 x Laevatein and 2 x scramasax).
