"WW2: Sandbox. Strategy & Tactics may be just the thing for you; especially if you are a fan of Hearts of Iron or Axis & Allies" - mobiletechreview.com

Sandbox is the unlimited sequel to our Strategy & Tactics: World War II. We've abandoned historical restrictions and turn limits making your task deceptively simple - take command of any European army and lead it to victory in World War 2.

You can recreate the actual politics of the era - or not. For instance, as Great Britain you could side with the USSR to crush Germany - or you could disable the historical alliances and lead America to conquer Europe...

Random events like guerrilla movements, landing operations, and voluntary recalls will ensure endless replayability and the uniqueness of each game session. Youll be making your own history!
WW2: Sandbox. Strategy & Tactics war is coming!

Game Features:
- Accurate maps of Europe and Asia with over 950 regions
- 4 types of ship: Battleship, Cruiser, Submarine, Destroyer
- 39 playable countries
- Will you use infantry, aircraft, artillery, and armored vehicles? You choose how to bring the enemy to their knees!
- You decide how to spend the resources from the conquered territories: will you grow your army or boost R&D?

If you follow the iTunes link and then press related you should see the other game of this which is free. I might suggest giving that a go. $9.99 could be a bit steep to try on a whim.

I've tried the free version of one of their other games before that was similar to this. The problem I had with it was that there was iaps to buy medals and such. The medals were used to unlock things in the game, such as various factions and campaigns. From what I could tell by looking at the App Store, the paid versions also had these.

What I want to know from anyone that may have already bought this is if these version has all those iaps.

I'd also be curious to find out from someone who owns the game if there's any actual diplomacy system in place, inasmuch as the player having actual control over whom they form alliances and truces with.
