Space Beats Saga - Official Launch

Hi there,

My name is Rafael Lima and I'm proud to present my first game I made since I quit my job. Space Beats Saga is a challenging FREE arcade game based on some popular gameplays like Swing Copters and Flappy Bird, with a lot of attention given to details and graphics.

App Store:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/space-beats-saga/id920272381?mt=8

Gameplay Video:

Thank you very very much for your attention and I really hope at least some of you enjoy the game.

1.1.2 Version: You can now unlock/choose difficulties and different spaceships, according to your skills.

Cheers,

Belopolskya

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much when I downloaded this, but I am pleasantly surprised.

First off- the controls:
Tap to change directions. That's it. You have to take into account the inertia of the ship, but it's very well implemented, and feels perfect.

There are 4 difficulty levels, medium, hard and impossible are unlocked by reaching certain scores, and each starts you off with a higher multiplier than the previous difficulty, which is nice.

There are blue orb things randomly placed which increase your multiplier when you complete the segment after collecting them. Segments are broken up by 5-15 second stretches of platform dodging. I haven't gotten very far, but each segment, or stage, adds another lane. I'm assuming these stop eventually, but I haven't paid enough attention to that.

5 GameCenter leaderboards and 10 achievements...

For free it's pretty hard to say it's not worth checking out, but if you're in to pretty straight forward hardcore arcade games, you should jump on it. =oD

Thanks syntheticvoid! Your comment is way better than my own game description. Thanks for putting a smile on my face. You've made my day. Much obliged.

@Macoum - You can touch anywhere on the screen to change direction. Flying straight is not an option. The spaceship will always go right or left. Just time it well to keep in zig-zag motion to avoid touching the sides of the screen or the rays that come from the top. My apologies if the tutorial page wasn't very clear. I'll try to make it more intuitive.
