WipFire (by Nathan Malville) a shoot'em all work in progress

Hi guys!

I release today "WipFire", it's not a game, it's not a blog about game development.
It's both.
I started this game 1 week ago, and i will release every 1 or 2 weeks a new version, like that every one can see the creation of it and give me their ideas and comments.
I think it can be interesting for players to discover each steps of the creation of a game. And for developpers to learn from this experience.

Give your opinion by email (directly from the app), on this forum or very soon on the blog. Send me your comments, your ideas, your criticisms, I still do not know exactly what the game will look like in the end (you never know at the beginning of a project), it will certainly evolve because of the opinions and ideas of everyone.

It will be universal, and free.

About this version:
Before the game, there is no game.
This first prototype please me about the energy and the fun it brings, that's why I decided to continue it. But do not expect with this release to win or lose, for now it's just about to empty the charger on characters who approach you (yes they are just cubes).

About the next version:
I will add the system to change weapons and try more kinds of fun, guns, bullets and frequency. The goal will certainly be to collect coins to unlock and upgrade weapons.

Pretty cool idea. It's always nice to see/learn about what all goes into making a game.

I love the idea that i don't know how will be the final result.
And that everyone will be able to follow (discover, learn) the evolution of this game.
The project will evolve every days, thanks of my efforts, thanks of my good and bad ideas, and thanks of players feedbacks.
And that's pretty exciting.

Version 2.0 is out.
In this second prototype i have implemented 9 differents weapons (shotgun, grenade launcher, laser, etc...). A special box fall from the sky, you have to shoot it to get the new weapon during 10 seconds. Enjoy all the differents rhythm, power and projectiles.
After some players's feedbacks, I have inverted the aim control, let's try like that.
