A few years ago some friends and I started making a series of games (in different genres) about a tank with knives on it. My favorite of those games is Knifetank: The Hauntening, our funny little tribute to the classic adventure games of yore. We designed it as a web game, that fit nicely into iPad and iPhone screens, but this year we finally wrapped it up into an app and submitted it to the appstore (along with Game Center and a few more tweaks). The game is quick (most players beat it in 15 minutes), stylish, and filled with cheese puns. If you love point and click adventure games like Monkey Island, I think you'll dig this. The game will be free and available in time for Halloween... here are some screens.
submitted Knifetank: The Hauntening is officially in review now! We had previously submitted v0.9, which got rejected for not having a "restore purchase" button. Knifetank is totally free, but we thought it would be cool to add a tip jar for anyone who wanted to help us make more games. Fingers crossed we'll hit the app store before Halloween. Grumble. This is the longest wait I've ever experienced... and it's killing me! I'd love to have Knifetank available in time for Halloween. I submitted a request for an expedited review today, hopefully that helps. We submitted our first build on 10/13, got rejected for having a missing "restore purchase" button on the 22nd, resubmitted later that night (it was an easy fix), and hoped the second review would be quicker than the first. Here's some more fan art, from our friend Jeff Plotkin:
Just a quick heads up, the game went live a couple hours ago. You can read about it here http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=3388816#post3388816
