I was just on AppZapp and I saw that this long forgotten gem from my time on Android is on sale. Great Infinity Blade clone from the creators of Horn.

On the fence since it's not even optimized for iPhone 5! Any suggestions?

I hate this game. I hate the movement, I hate the ranged combat, I hate the monsters (they look like Power Rangers').

I love this game. Not so much the movement but tis better to explore freely this way than have IB's linear, no backtrack move system. I love the ranged combat here, and i love the fantastic dialogue and the story.

This was easily one of my all-time top 10 premium games before PG cracked it to add IAPs... not sure what the current monetization scheme is (I finally bailed on it long ago and deleted it out of frustration with the IAP changes), but the game itself is solid, and the storyline is AWESOME.

If you can buy it, play through comfortably, and not miss any of the collectables, I'd say this is easily worth 5 bucks, let alone 1 dollar... in fact, if you can buy it for a buck and end up needing to pay a few extra bucks to enjoy a complete experience, it's still worth it.

I could never give up.

I think they only added IAP in the premium version which doesnt change game balance ala Infinity Blade titles.

They released a separate freemium version which is a lot more IAP pushy i believe.

The story is more complicated iirc. they turned the game INTO a freemium game, but, due to gamer outrage, re-released a premium version.

At least they listened.
