App description: From the makers of the highest-rated iOS game of 2013, here comes a zombie shooter audio-only game made with gut-wrenching 3D sound.

Put your headphones on and you become the blind warrior, fighting off wave after wave of Dr Bastards Zombies. With 3D sound the zombies really are all around you. It's oculus thrift!

* 3D binaural sound and no graphics for complete, weird immersion.
* Fast-paced, pick up and play audio gaming
* Simple and immersive gyro interface. Swipe or tilt the screen if you'd prefer to remain seated.
* Progress through 20 challenges, 14 upgradeable weapons and 4 power ups. 11 "special zombies and 15 zombies in total and 1 Dr Bastard. Endless Mode and leaderboards
* No IAP. Just buy the game and play
* Fully accessible for blind and partially sighted gamers
* Support for iPhone 4S upwards and iPad 2 upwards (does not currently support 6+)
* Sounds great with standard earphones
* As scary as you can imagine

Theres everything you'd expect from a brilliant zombie game. Progress through a badass range of special zombies and weapons - Chainsaw Zombies give you a really close binaural haircut, Farty Zombies explodes in a towering inferno of noise and gore. You start with little popgun pistol and eventually graduate to the sonic cannon. With Challenges and Endless mode there are hours of fun.

Yeah, I posted this on release night and no one seemed interested. It's certainly getting some AppStore love and some really positive reviews. It even seems to have invigorated Papa Sangre sales as I've noticed they've climbed back onto the top charts.

It sounds great, but I still have to finish Papa Sangre 2 first.

Papa Sangre and it's sequel's (which I prefer to the original) sales were invigorated by their annual Hallow's Eve sale, and it's subsequent Apple Feature. You will find both of them reintroducing theirselves into the top of the charts every year in late October.

...it's an all time classic series that has always been well received here, and they make a new audio adventure yet no TA member even gives imps - that's surprising. It's even more surprising considering this years light Halloween offering. This was the only (new) Halloween themed game that piqued my interest.

I've came here for impressions on the game a few times, willing to buy it if it is well-received...

I'll toftt this next weekend.

It actually had a successful kick starter, and some how I still didn't hear about it until it's release. I don't think TA even covered it's kick starter, upcoming release, or even posted it in the just released section. I'd think this would get a front-page TA article and review.

I really like the fact that they make awesome games that are accessible to the blind or seeing impaired.

I wish I could buy it now, but I only have $7 or $8 on my iTunes account, and well...Simogo releases The Sailor's Dream this week...and I refuse to wait 24 hours to play a Simogo release.

so, this will have to wait.

Here's the kickstarter video:

It's actually very different from Papa Sangre and the Nightjar, as it's much more an arcade game than a story driven one. It's very much a pick and play one, and you can play small sessions of 5 minutes, unlike Papa Sangre.
