App description: Do you have what it takes to achieve Perfection.... Again?
The sequel to the critically acclaimed puzzle game Perfection!

Perfection! 2: Midnight builds on the beautifully simplistic yet challenging and addictive formula of the first game. To bring to you a sequel that is infinitely more complex.

If you like to get your brain working hard and enjoy a challenge then this is definitely the game for you.

Your goal is to have all of the tiles on the game board pointing straight up (at Midnight). Manage this before the time runs out and without using any of the available power ups and you have achieved perfection.

Take just a minute to get to know Perfection! and you will find yourself getting lost in the charms of this new and unique puzzle game for hours.

Designed to take advantage of iOS 8 and the new larger screen sizes. Perfection is a universal app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

Up to 5 different game board sizes on iPhone & iPod Touch and 10 different sizes on iPad.
And now, thanks to the larger screen, up to 10 grid sizes on iPhone 6 Plus as well.

A never ending challenge to suit every level of gamer from first timer to experienced veteran.

One deceptively simple game style that is adaptable, endless and utterly addictive.

Game Center Leaderboards to see how you compare to the rest of the world.

Praise for Perfection!

TrueBlou's comments:
Hey folks, not been here for a while, work takes an obscene amount of time from your life. Ha, life, wish I had time for one of those all it's been lately is work and wedding planning (although the missus is doing the bulk of that). Anyhow I digress....

Just thought I'd mention that my new game Perfection! 2: Midnight has just been released for free on the AppStore.

The first game (Perfection! oddly enough) got a pretty decent reception on here if I remember rightly and don't have my rose tinted wekkies on. It was critically well received from many other websites and bloggers and most folks who got in touch seemed to enjoy it. While I'm saying that, thank you to everyone who did get in touch with comments and suggestions. They improved the first game and were taken into consideration this time round as well.

The sequel is a more refined, much tougher (well thats the intention anyway) but hopefully just as enjoyable and oddly relaxing as the first game.

So if puzzling is your thing, or you had a go of the first one, give this a go and feel free to start the slagging and abuse via the usual channels

P.S sorry for waffling on, anyone who remembers me will probably know that the medication I have to take, morphine being the worst culprit, does make me blabber on just a bit. You may have noticed Is it any wonder I don't post much I just can never seem to shut my mou...

I'm sold, though a bit of explanation of the gameplay video would be ideal.
Is it a match 3?

Hi, as you'll probably have guessed communication isn't my strongest point in my condition but here goes....

It's not a match 3, I've done one, hardly anyone plays it but I like it lol.
Anyway, if your old enough, think Rubiks Clock. That's where the inspiration for the first game came from so this naturally follows on from that.

Each dot operates like a compass essentially. With each press the dot will rotate one point clockwise through the points of a compass.

The tricky bit is that with each press of a dot another dot, indicated by the direction the arrow of your selected dot is pointing, will also rotate.

The aim is to get all dots pointing to North. Or midnight as the game likes to say. It's not as easy as it sounds.

There are some power-ups to help you out but the main aim is to try and complete the level without using any of them. If you do, that's Perfection.

Hope that makes sense. I'll try and get a video up soon as. But in the meantime there is a video for the first game on the TrueBlou website which would give an idea of the basic mechanics.

Oh, I should probably mention that you may or may not have issues with the GameCenter Leaderboards.
From the chatter on the Apple Dev site this seems to be an issue Apple is working on.
Out of my control I'm afraid but apparently it should work out in a few days.
I know I've been having problems with some games, not mine, so I suppose it makes sense.
